The Native Addictions Council of Manitoba (NACM) is a Native owned and operated treatment centre that directly targets the addictions problems facing First Peoples in Manitoba and throughout Canada. The mission of the Native Addictions Council of Manitoba is to provide Traditional Healing Services to First peoples through the holistic treatment of addictions. The belief of NACM is that each person has the right to Healing, Safety and Wellness.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in not-for-profit
  • Business administration, social services, or another relevant degree/diploma
  • Demsonstrated ability to lead, engage and manage a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience working with and reporting to a Board of Directors
  • Sobriety and substance free lifestyle for a minimum of 2 years
  • Ability to speak or understand a First Nation's language an asset
  • Minimum Manitoba's Class 5 Driver's License, and a Driver's Abstract is required
  • Must provide a complete and current (within 6 months) Criminal Records Check, Child Abuse Check, Adult Abuse Check, Vulnerable Person Sector Check or be willing to obtain one.
