SALARY: $56,212 - $73,080 per annum

DUTIES

To support RRC Polytech’s human resources programs and policies delivery, we are seeking a strategic and analytical Human Resources Program Analyst to join our team. If you are interested in driving meaningful and positive organizational change through optimizing strategic human resources programs and policies, we invite you to apply.

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources Programs and Policies, and working closely with a team of Human Resources Program Consultants, you will be responsible for supporting human resources program and policy research, development, implementation, and evaluation.  You will be involved in collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative human resources data, identifying trends, using data visualization tools, and preparing summary and recommendation reports to inform program and policy developments and enhancements.

As the Human Resources Program Analyst, you will also work closely with cross-functional working groups, project teams and other internal and external stakeholders to implement projects and initiatives; plan events; track progress; and provide updates. You will support the drafting of a variety of communications aimed at promoting human resources programs and policies initiatives and events

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Post-secondary education in human resources; data analytics; project management; or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience
  • Technical skills and experience in data analytics, trend analysis and program evaluation; using research methods and data visualization tools to prepare progress and recommendation reports
  • Experience with event planning and coordination
  • Experience using project and change management skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously; and, to lead project teams to collaboratively achieve results in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working independently and demonstrating initiative and accountability for achieving results.
  • Effective verbal communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills with experience delivering presentation; hosting events; chairing meetings; and facilitating inclusive discussions
  • Effective written communication skills with experience preparing a variety of documents including research reports, staff news announcements, employee surveys/forms; presentation slide decks; and training materials
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
 
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of leading practices and legislation related to human resource program areas including equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility; employee engagement; disability management; and employee outreach, recruitment and retention
 
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
  • Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
