Manitoba Hydro is seeking an innovative and diplomatic self-starter to join our team for an exciting two year term as the Transformation Communications Specialist.  Reporting directly to the Senior Director – Enterprise Transformation, you will develop channels and multi-media content to engage the enterprise in conversations about transformation efforts and progress at Manitoba Hydro.

 

Responsibilities:

As the Transformation Communications Specialist you will help engage the enterprise in our transformation journey by:

Working closely with leaders across transformation initiatives to understand communications needs and co-develop a strategy and plan that meets objectives and then maintain and monitor the communications plan to evaluate success.

Creating content that develops awareness, desire, and knowledge of Enterprise Excellence principles, initiatives, and culture at Manitoba Hydro.

Developing and promoting channels of communication to connect employees to leaders to enable feedback, sharing, ideas, and dialogue.

Integrating transformation communications and change activities, collaborating on strategies to enable successful change adoption across the organization.

 

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess a Degree in Communications or Public Relations or a Diploma in Creative Communications with a minimum of five to seven years of directly related experience.

This role is a great match for candidates with proven content writing, social media and networking experience, the ability to write technical material for clarity and understanding and excellent communication skills.
