Position Location: Stevenson Campus/Southport, MB  (90km outside of Winnipeg, MB)

Full-Time, Term Position Available 

Anticipated January 6, 2022 up to May 13, 2022

DUTIES:

Reporting to the Corporate Solutions Manager, the successful candidate will be a member of the Instructional team responsible for the delivery of Gas Turbine and Repair and other related training. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, delivery, and evaluation of classroom and shop training, both on-campus and at the location of RRC Polytech's industry partner(s). Other duties include representation at symposiums and trade shows, and maintenance of student records and marks.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Valid or Equivalent Department of National Defense, Canadian Council of Aviation & Aerospace, Canadian General Standards Board, or relevant industry training and experience

- Extensive industry experience and previous training of gas turbine engines in an aerospace environment including work on a variety of gas turbine engines

- Supervisory experience in a Gas Turbine Repair/Overhaul environment 

- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

- Effective presentation and leadership skills

- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in instructing adults 

- Successful completion of additional licensing categories

 

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada

- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends

Salary: $58,744 - $87,246 per annum*
