Position Location: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)


Full-Time, Term Position Available 

Anticipated October, 2021 up to May 31, 2022

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, production and analysis of internal and external financial statements; other financial reporting requirements for management, government, and other funding partners; financial guidance and advice to college administration by performing financial analysis and preparing various financial reports as required; contribution to month-end and year-end processes; assistance with preparations for year-end audit and assistance with the budget process; provision of accounting guidance and consultation to selected departments.



  • Professional Accounting Designation (CMA, CGA, CA, CPA) designation; other combinations of education and experience may be considered
  • Considerable financial and accounting experience, including complex financial analysis
  • Experience with financial reporting and financial statement reporting software
  • Experience working within an ERP system
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Strong analytical problem solving ability, innovative approach, and adaptability to a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to multitask, produce accurate work within stringent deadlines, while being customer focused and results orientated
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team, with limited supervision
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to innovation and continuous quality improvement

  • Experience working in various ERP system modules including AP, AR, Fixed Assets, GL, PU, Payroll, etc.
  • Experience in Renovofyi reporting system and report designing
  • Experience working in a post-secondary education setting

  • This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
  • Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check
