Position Summary:
Native Addictions Council of Manitoba is seeking Financial Adminstrator to undertake all aspects of financial management including regulatory and financial reporting, development of control policies and procedures. Develop reports and communicate results to Executive Director and Board of Directors to assist in analyzing business operations.
Qualifications:
- Must be bondable
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with a chartered professional designation preferred
- Knowledge of accoutning principles and procedures.
- Experience creating financial statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and month end/year close process
- 5 years experience in Financial Administration
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal, oral communication and documentation skills
- Experience with Sage 300 (Accpac)
- Must have a valid driver's license, have access to a reliable vehicle and a driver's abstract
- Must be abstinent from substance/drug use.
- Candidates are required to provide a current Criminal Record Check, Adult/Child Abuse Check, Vulnerable Persons Sector Check
- Speaking of Indigenous language is an asset
- Entrepreneurial mind set with the ability to spot and leverage unique business opportunities related to operations and finance
- Ability to analyze inpret financial data and provide feedback
- Ability to communicate and articulate strategic ideas with Executive Director and Board of Directors
- Comfortable working in a a fast-paced growth focused environment
Responsibilities:

- Record keeping
- Identify and address account discrepancies
- Recieve and process reimbursements
- Manage accounts receiveable and payable
- Prepare budgets
- Report on financial projections
