ANTICIPATED OPENINGS FROM NURSERY TO GRADE 12

for the 2020 - 2021 academic year.

God's Lake Narrows First Nation School is situated on the beautiful God's Lake in northeastern Manitoba. God's Lake Narrows First Nation School is a school that meets its students' needs by providing opportunities to acquire knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to retain their cultural identities while enabling them to deal with social, cultural, and economic challenges.  God's Lake Narrows First Nation School is expanding and will be opening its brand new school (currently under construction) for Fall 2020. For the first time, God's Lake Narrows First Nation School will be offering a High School program in-community.

God's Lake Narrows is a remote Indigenous community located in an outdoors-man's paradise and in all of Mother Nature's glory. Nature is all around you and the lake is at your doorstep. God's Lake Narrows is a beautiful and pristine place.  A perfect place for a person that enjoys being outdoors with a lot of activities to enjoy such as hiking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, camping, and many outdoor sports. The community's residents are friendly and a welcoming people. We encourage teachers to immerse themselves in the community's culture by participating in its community events.

We are seeking for dynamic educators that believe in building a strong foundation for all students to establish a love of learning, to promote self-confidence and self-esteem, and promote and provide a healthy safe learning environment. We are looking for educators that want and love to make a difference in a child's life.

We look forward to having you join our school and community. Many teachers who have come here have loved it so much that they have stayed (some have been here for decades) and now call God's Lake home.  We make sure that you are appreciated and supported as a teacher. We offere several professional development opportunities during the school year and teacher appreciation initiatives.

You will find that generally our students are respectful and friendly. Our class sizes are capped at 20 students to make sure teachers can give proper care and attention to each student. We hope that you will invest yourself in the students both in class and after school.
