Project Coordinator
Full-time, term position with the possibility for extension
Closing Date: April 10 2023
Salary Range: $45 000 – $55 000

As Project Coordinator, you possess the following core competencies:

As a member of The Winnipeg Boldness Project Team, you will :
Ø Report directly to the Project Director of The Winnipeg Boldness Project;
Ø Work collaboratively with other members of your team to ensure that all stakeholders have meaningful experiences that lead them to be confident and passionate ambassadors of The Winnipeg Boldness Project
Ø Support knowledge gathering and research activities for the project with community engagement and meeting faciliation
Ø Write and develop a variety of reports and documents
Ø Develop and implement a work plan surrounding a specific project or goal
Ø Operate in a values based decision making environment
You possess the following qualifications and/or an equivalent combination of education and related experience including the ability to:
Ø Respect diverse groups of people and understand the strengths and challenges within marginalized communities
Ø Maintain a strong knowledge of computers (specifically MacOS) and Microsoft Office Suite;
Ø Learn and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment and manage several tasks simultaneously
Ø Organize information and manage documents
Ø Demonstrate initiative and work both independently as well as collaboratively with other staff and community members
Ø Practice exemplary communication skills – especially in written form – and communicate effectively with a variety of audiences
Ø Adapt to evolving responsibilities and be willing to expand capacity as the job requires
Ø Skilled in community research, engagement, and writing
Ø Collaborative and friendly attitude
Ø Interest and passion for community building and equity
The following qualifications would be assets to this position, but are not requirements:
Ø Proficiency in Indigenous ways of knowledge and cultural traditions
Ø Past experience working in the Non-Profit field
Ø An understanding or interest in the field of social innovation
Ø Awareness of community organizations in the Point Douglas community
Ø Skills related to impact measurement and evaluation
Ø Awareness of early childhood development principles and research
